Ice on the river
Ther is only a few visible here, but the camera couldn't pick out the large ones in the middle of the river
SWAN
He had landed beside the resident swans & to be honest I'd been watching them for a while before I noticed it was a goose so had to have a picture.
I've also added another of the castle which is just a few metres away from the swans, I think you can see the ice. it was also a very grey day so the light isn't too good.
Hope you all had a nice christmas, I went shopping today & got lots of Tildas half price, so plenty to keep me busy after the holidays, promised I wouldn't be crafting till then.
Take care

This Goose Thinks He's a .......see above
I have yet another chest infection & we went for a walk along the beach to get a bit of fresh air & to see the ice floes on the river, we are at the mouth of the north sea, there was this lonely goose, I think he must have got lost & landed beside what he thought were his fellow geese, also what may have helped was the landlord of the pub which is right on the beach had put out trays of food for the birds, the beach was completly frozen.
have a look up top

Last Christmas Card
Finally, at least I hope so, done with christmas cards, roll on something springlike, we've had enough of the white stuff!!, Well all your dreams came true, unless there's a very quick thaw on the way.
I've used this cute Magnolia snowman, my first try with this, thanks to Janice.
He is coloured with promarkers & sakura pens.
Th DP is an odd piece of pearlescent one from last year,
Spellbinder snowflake cut from OOPS senior moment, what's it called, the clear stuff?covered in twinklets which isn't showing too well.
Gems & circle sentiment
Sparkly ribbon
It's a really sparkly card, shame non of it's showing.
Many thank for any comments, I love them all,

LOTV Challenge Sketch
Starting to get back into the flow a bit more after all the drama, still no credit cards , on the plus side I can't spend, on the other still need my trusty son as a bodyguard to get to the bank as I still need to get some shopping, but not too confident yet about carrying a bag or money, but have managed to go out walking on my own.
I've used my new LOTV stamp for this birthday card for my great niece.

This is for my cousin's birthday on christmas eve, which works out fine for the challenge as it's Christmas Birthdays at An Oldie but a Goodie challenge. This was also supposed to go into the LOTV challenge but I missed it, too busy clearing snow.
I've used my LOTV Fairy I got in the spring, coloured with promarkers, It's actually lilac but does look a a bit like pink, I do usually use pink, so different for me

MS border punch
Flowers, ribbon & brad from box
