CD Calendars & some Happy News

After the bad news hopefully there is something happy, well my nephew got engaged on Christmas day on a beach in Australia, aparently he's been planning it since August & only told my son & nephew, so a pat on the back to them for keeping it secret.
On asking how everything went I was told...... "He burnt his knee on the sand", typical alas no news of the ring which was what I really wanted to know, & was she happy about it.    MEN!

On to the calendars

I've made these for a few friends & will take them round tomorrow as a little new year present.
I did make two in red but they went with christmas presents & I forgot to take a pic.
I've just had a look at the photo & a good job too, I've missed the small border on one of them.

Products used an assortment of American crafts card
SU Flower Shop stamp set
Hero Art flourishes
Vellum embossed with silver powder
Sizzix numbers & spellbinders label die
Many thanks for visiting & wishing you all a Happy 2014

Hi All, hope you all had a terrific Christmas & looking forward to 2014.
I'm busy trying to finish off calendars before the 1st, will try to post them tomorrow.
We,ve had a bit of a drama this last week, with first my nephew's FIL taken into hospital with pneumonia, then last Saturday nephew, his wife & daughter were in a horrific car crash, fortunately they have sustained relatively minor injuries, the police were shocked that even one walked out of the car, never mind three of them, so all in all it's been a rather subdued christmas.
On a slightly lighter note, when they got home even the cat was limping, I think it came out in sympathy.

Please if you are travelling over the holidays please take extra care, nephew went into hidden flooding.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

This is for a friends daughter, she asked for lots of pink........ so that's what she got.

I've used Saturated Canary Blanche, coloured with promarkers, some roses & a pearl stem.
DP have been around forever, not sure whose it is, but it's very pink!!! SU ribbon & a dazzler.
Really quite a simple card.

Time for tea & Cakes

This is another LOTV image for my friend's birthday
This is also coloured with promarkers & the DP are from First edition pad Romance
I've glazed the cherrys & cake tops with TH glossy accents, added a doily & flower to accent the hat.

The inside is decorated to compliment the front.

This is for my cousin Fiona's son Connor, he is going to be twenty , he also looks just like the image, except a bit more grown up, he's already a 3rd year medic & now has his own car.
I just can't believe how grown up he is, I used to look after him when he was a baby.

I've used LOTV image Toot Toot
Spellbinders fabulous frames
DP are Kanban
Coloured with promarkers
American Crafts card

Fiona & Oscar

Here is a birthday card for my cousin, she is just like the Sarah Kaye image & she has a dog the same, so a no brainer to use the image "Vivienne & Mahon".
Fiona is also all about hair, shoes & bags & she nearly always wears black. I picked up some colour with the lead & added ribbon to match.
This is another of my December birthdays.
I'm not sure about the DP, either Bo Bunny or First edition, skin & hair colouring promarkers.
