Forever Friends

this card was for a challenge, but I've mad a mistake with the layout, so will do another, hopefully in time.
I got the stamp in the sales along with quite a few others, but not had the time to practice, I found the colouring a wee bit tricky, however here's my effort.

I've used FF bear, coloured with promarkers & souffle pens for flower
imaginesce DP,
MS doily border
daisies & brads
Spellbinders circles.

At last another card

I've not been around much, been busy knitting & reading, just for a change.
This is for a weekly christmas card challenge on DC, solely for not a having a rush in December, I wish.
The layout is from Magnolia Ink magazine
I've used a donated Tilda & coloured with promarkers, although the flash has made her look a bit washed out.
The DP are remnants of christmas , along with the ribbon.

Baby's Jacket

I've been doing a bit of knitting, just for a change & really enjoying it, very relaxing, this is one of two I did this week, one for overdue baby & one due in March.

Black & White

My first card post this year, second attemp, laptop keeps freezing, not surprised its -5 here just now Brr
I'm not sure about this one, think I should have put the black on the background & not too happy with the ribbon, but the white didn't show up, still first try with this stamp.
Ive used the Truly Scrumptious sketch, theme is dreaming of summer, as dreams are in b/w, this should fit.

Wishing you all a Happy 2011

I hope you all had a fun time celebrating new year, I was on my own, by choice as I am recovering from a chest infection & didn't really feel like going to my nephews party, I stayed up & watched the fireworks display & amazed at how sophisticated they've become, it was indeed very enjoyable from my bedroom window & all nice & cosy inside.
well that's another year I'm certainly glad to see the back of & being positive about getting out & about.
I did make a card for a new baby & in the rush to wrap present & get the parcel off before closing on Friday I forgot to take a picture.
