Niece's birthday card

Hi, LONG time since I've posted on here, will I kind of lost interest & had other stuff going on, now the longer nights are coming thought I'd get back into doing more crafty things once I get back from holiday.... again!, also I'm due for an op when I get back so will have a bit of extra time to spend on probably christmassy things.

I hope she likes it, by my logic she has a lot of chinese takeaways, so just staying with the theme.

it's a bit weird being back & just hope I remember how to post.
See you soon & hope you all survived the storm, which we didn't have, but it didn't look very nice.

Off on my hols

This is a quick post before I leave, I have a card & a cardigan to add, a card for one of my long time crafty friends & a gardening cardi for my son.
I hope the sun shines for you all, wee bit nervous as it's my first holiday abroad on my own, but you got to be a bit adventurous, although I'm very much a home person, so hopefully  be back in two weeks.

A Little Giesha

I've used this image from LOTV for another friends birthday, she looks a bit like her.
I do like to try & match up images to the person they are going to, either in looks or hobbies.
I've coloured her with promarkers & used my new Tattered Lace lanterns & some small blossoms to match up with the hair, along with the MB heart pins.
I must go now, just about dropping off,

Card for a friend

This is for a lady who loves her flower garden, so I've used another Sarah Kay image, I do love this one as it feels so summery.
I've coloured her with promarkers & used lots of flowers, seam binding & butterfly is from SU set,
the bird house is a new die I think from La La Land.
Can you guess, she likes lilacs!

This has taken months to make, basically due to my lazyness, not too happy with the flower button though.
I will probably change it to an accsessory & just add a toggle button, it'll come in handy for a knitting bag.

A Nice Cup of Tea

That is something I never refuse. I thought this Sarah Kay image was perfect as we were taking the birthday girl out for "Afternoon Tea", aspecial in an award winning tea shop, with china cups proper leaf tea, cake stands & sandwiches with the crusts off, something I don't like, as I love the crusts, we had a lovely aftrnoon though.

On to the card, the image is a Sarah Kay I've had for a very long time & hadn't used.
I've coloured with Copics & promarkers, DP is Basic Grey an assortment of flowers & pins & seam binding. I also did a matching candle, but forgot to take a picture, this is becoming a bad habit, mostly due to the fact they are done at the last minute!!.
