Remembering Gordon & Mrs Stewart

Well We've had a very upsetting weekend,my son's friend was killed on Friday during a training excercise close to home. He was a veteran of Kosavo & Iraq & we're all devastated, my son's been in pieces all weekend.
Gordon was a lovely person well mannered & always had a cheeky grin which is how I will remember him..

Also his piping teacher died on Saturday, she was a grand old lady of 93 ( she taught him when she was 70 & he's been asked to do a solo at the funeral.


Chris also had to play in a competition on Saturday & collected the prize in their memory. I don't know how he kept it together, they came away with a 3rd & a 4th so not too bad as they have just moved up to grade 2.If any one wants a listen it's here...

(sorry not too many dots as I have a famine of them at the moment)
I've used my new PB image Bunny Friends which is watercoloured,
K&CO spotty paper & green tissue effect origin unknown
MS two dot punch,
Bazill card
Stampin up puches for sentiment from a clear set.
As Bugs Bunny says
"That's all folks".
Hope this is ok for the challenge & for two PB entries as I used the spots & image.

This is for Friday Sketchers
and
Penny Black Saturday Challenge .. Lots of Dots.

I have used PB image For You watercoloured
Nesties circle & scalloped circle to make a sunflower
Basic Grey Cupcakes DP
MS Loops border punch
Small EK SUccess retro flower punch
White & blue pearls.

Now for the challenges of linking them both, I've never succeeded in this before, so here we go.....

Prima flowers
I think DP is Carol Wilson
Oddments of card.
I've had this stamp for ages & only just used it, must use it more as it's really sweet.

This is another atempt at linking this card (first one didn't work)
For this special PB challenge I've used my smallest PB stamp Honey, which is sitting on a Spellbinders Daisy head. K&Co daisy paper & MS ladybug border punch & buttons.
Fingers crossed this link works.
I had for some strange reason created another blog & the link was going there.
